GMCA Library is a modem facility with a total area of 10000 sq ft located strategically for faculty, students and staff to support their information needs and to access Library at any time of the day or night. Our Library has been conceived and developed as a multifaceted learning centre dedicated to serve the multi facet agenda of the college as being operated by its students, faculty, research and health professionals. To serve this purpose our Library has access to a large variety of learning resources such as Books, Journals, Online database, access to Internet & Multimedia facilities in the field of biomedicine and health care.

To cater to the information requirement of Faculty members, students and researchers we have a growing collection of 6,000 books, 45 thesis and more than 65 International Journals. In keeping with the modern trends in the Information Technology, we offer our services through a fully automated Library with computerized Library services and also provide access to several online databases, e-books & e-journals. Free access to Internet & Intranet is available to all students and faculty members of GMCA community.

The mission of the GMCA Library learning centre is to provide resources and instructional material in support of the evolving curriculum. It also provides leadership in accessing and using information consistent with the mission and goals of the GMCA. The GMCA learning centre is focusing on maintaining and providing access to the state of the art information technology to meet the current and changing information needs of the GMCA community.

In carrying out this vision, the Library will acquire, manage, and link information resources, both physical and virtual, and will provide quality instruction to empower users to benefit from the full potential of the universe of knowledge. The Library's information professionals and staff will ensure that GMCA Library aims & meet the complex information challenges of the 21st century, for life-long learning and excellence in undergraduate, graduate, and professional studies.
